Fast Leaner

I came to the United States in October 1975 when I was 8 years old with my parents, brother, and 2 sisters. Being the eldest, I took on the responsibility of learning English fast to help my parents with interpretation. Even though the journey here was hard, we are blessed to be in this great country where there are so many opportunities. In Vietnam, you must be wealthy to get a higher education. In the USA, all you really need is a willingness to succeed. I had the opportunity to study at Dickinson College.
