Our Journeys: 50 Years After The Fall

An exhibition coming in 2025, presented by Vietnamese Boat People.

This exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, a pivotal moment in our Vietnamese diaspora community and a transformative year for Vietnamese people around the world filled with reflections on our journeys and how our families and communities have evolved.

We feel a sense of urgency with many stories and experiences being forgotten over the course of 50 years and even more at threat of being lost with our aging parents and elders. The exhibition is a thoughtfully curated show, drawing from over 250 stories we've collected. We aim to bridge past to present with narratives across different generations to foster a deeper understanding of the Vietnamese diaspora experience. The exhibition will be a curated set of stories that will travel across the country, after its debut in New York City.

Contribute to the Exhibition by submitting your photos!
